Competent, ethical business leaders for Africa
An accredited MBA taught from Lilongwe over 22 months, delivered online with campus residencies, for people building businesses that serve more than themselves.
Africa does not only need more businesses
It needs leaders who will run them with integrity. ABI was founded on the conviction that the fight against poverty calls for enterprise and character in the same person.
Leaders who combine the acumen of an entrepreneur with the heart of a minister are rare enough to be worth training deliberately. As part of the African Bible Colleges group, the institute draws its postgraduate classes from people who intend their work to serve their communities.
Teaching runs as live weekly classes online, so students stay in employment or keep building their own businesses throughout. Case material comes from African markets rather than being imported wholesale.

Beyond the classroom
A qualification is not the end of the relationship.
The institute invests in alumni ventures through its startup fund, which has backed businesses in Malawi, Uganda and Liberia and stays with them through their first years of trading. Students also work in rural communities through the institute's business workshops.
Successful leaders who hold to such values can revolutionise and revitalise entire villages, cities, and even nations.
